Many scares in life no one can see, but there are some that are visible to others.
wounds worn like a timeless badge of valor. I find it oddly comforting to be reminded of a time when things were more out of my control, of my own mortality and personal growth. It is nice to have trophies, medals and tokens of success, however it is our mistakes and often our traumatic experiences that teach us the most. People who are wise in life are those that not only learn from there own mistakes, but also those of others.
